Grievance Redressal Policy

Maheshwari Public School has established a transparent and structured grievance redressal mechanism to address concerns raised by students, parents and staff members.

Constituted Year: 2023

Maheshwari Public School has its own Grievance Redressal System functioning under the direct supervision of the Principal. The Grievance Redressal Cell examines complaints lodged by students, parents and staff members and takes appropriate action based on merit.

Objectives

  • Maintain a harmonious educational environment.
  • Encourage students to express grievances without fear.
  • Promote respectful student-student and student-teacher relationships.
  • Provide suggestion and complaint boxes.
  • Ensure ragging is strictly prohibited.

Procedure for Lodging Complaints

  • Submit complaints in writing to the Coordinator.
  • Use suggestion and complaint boxes.
  • Genuine complaints will be examined and resolved within a stipulated timeframe.

Responsibility for Redressal

  • Final responsibility rests with the Principal.
  • Resolution should be time-bound.
  • Status reports are monitored and reviewed by School Management.

Powers of the Cell

  • Resolve issues through discussion and consultation.
  • Refer unresolved matters to School Management.
  • Recommend disciplinary action whenever necessary.

Exclusions

  • Scholarships, fee concessions, awards and medals.
  • Disciplinary decisions taken by school authorities.
  • Assessment and examination results.
  • Admissions and transfers governed by school policies.
